Element Care PACE CEO Doug Thompson spoke at the groundbreaking of a second 48-unit affordable senior housing development at YWCA Residences at Ingalls Court in Methuen, where Element Care operates an on-site healthcare clinic and PACE center for residents 62 and older. Thompson highlighted that seniors in safe, affordable housing with on-site access to care live an average of six years longer and that PACE’s wrap-around model saves the state and federal government money by keeping older adults out of emergency rooms, hospitals, and nursing homes.
