Born in Lowell, and living in North Chelmsford, Jeanne is the oldest of ten siblings. She worked as an office manager for over 25 years and loves to read, paint and watch mystery movies.
Jeanne had struggled with her weight and could barely walk more than sixty steps without taking a break. She also had issues getting in and out of bed and suffered from sciatica, arthritis, asthma and bronchitis.
In addition, Jeanne was hard pressed to cover her co-pays and would often put off seeing specialists due to the cost.
Jeanne joined PACE at Element Care in May of 2017 and within just one year, she has made tremendous progress.
With the help of the Element Care clinical team and especially her psychotherapist, Jeanne has lost over 50 pounds. She can now walk five times longer than she used to without taking a break and continues to work out and eat healthy on a daily basis.
Since joining the program, Jeanne’s overall health has improved significantly and she has not had any recurrence of bronchitis. She also has no prescription copays and can see all of her specialists as they are covered by PACE at Element Care.
